The Friends of Ellisville Marsh periodically hold events to bring the community together. In the past we have hosted beach cleanup days, bird walks, and held other educational events with neighboring community groups. Information for upcoming events will be sent to members via email.

Friend’s Annual Meeting

Saturday, July 13th, 11 AM

The Friends’ 2024 Annual Meeting will be held at the SEMPBA Community Conservation Center, located at 158 Center Hill Road in Plymouth. Come meet directors and fellow members, hear about the year’s accomplishments and plans for the future, and provide your feedback. Coffee and donuts will be provided.

Spring Cleanup Day

Saturday, May 18th, 10:00 am

Join us at Shifting Lots Preserve as we harvest the winter’s crop of flotsam and jetsam from the barrier beach, marsh edge and dune. This event is being held in concert with the Town of Plymouth Annual Cleanup Day. Coffee and donuts will be available.

Annual Bird Walk

Saturday, May 25th, 9-11 am

The Friends are once again this year co-sponsoring the Welcome Spring! Bird Walk at Ellisville Marsh with the Wildlands Trust and Manomet.

Welcome Spring! Bird Walk

This year’s Welcome Spring! Bird Walk is again jointly offered by Manomet, Inc., The Wildlands Trust, and the Friends of Ellisville Marsh.
